newThe Kodiak 450 EPS is Yamaha's mid-size work ATV, with the same rugged design as the larger Kodiak 700 in a more compact body. The chassis has a low centre of gravity, making it agile and easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces. Even so, you sit comfortably, with a full-size riding position for long working days and free time.
The liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 421 cc single-cylinder engine delivers plenty of low-end torque. The Ultramatic transmission has a low range for towing and provides engine braking on all wheels. Electric power steering (EPS) makes steering light, and On-Command lets you choose 2WD, 4WD or 4WD with diff lock. In poor light, the halogen handlebar work light helps out.
A 2,500 lb WARN VRX 25 winch and a 2-inch towbar are standard. The racks carry 120 kg combined (40 kg front, 80 kg rear) and you can tow up to 600 kg. KYB gas shocks (171 mm travel front, 189 mm rear) and 245 mm of ground clearance provide comfort. Available in green, unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T).
