newThe AFR-120 is the heaviest-duty version with a 1.2 m working width. Where the Estate and Professional models use Y-flails, this Contractor has 16 heavy-duty forged hammer flails and a Boss Bar as standard. Together with the 23 hp Briggs & Stratton V-Twin, that makes it suitable for dense scrub and rough vegetation, all day long.
Electric start and the LockTorque lever clutch with three belts make the work easy, and a kill switch clamps onto your ATV's rack. The rotor shaft has a diameter of 114 mm. A screw jack sets the cutting height between 20 and 205 mm; an anti-scalp rear roller stops the mower from scalping the turf.
At around 300 kg the AFR-120 is solidly built, with a 5 mm shot-blasted and powder-coated deck. Floating, puncture-resistant Kevlar-lined tyres (22-11-8) carry it across rough ground. The SwingLock axle system lets you switch between side wheels (2.05 m wide) and rear wheels (1.55 m) without tools.
