newThe Sportsman 600 is the entry model of the 600 range. Only the name is new: the liquid-cooled 567 cc ProStar single-cylinder engine with 44 hp is the same as in the trusted 570. On-Demand AWD engages the front wheels automatically as soon as the rear wheels start to slip, so you don't have to do anything when the going suddenly gets tougher.
With 29 cm of ground clearance and 20.8 cm of suspension travel at the front and 24.1 cm at the rear, you ride relaxed over forest tracks and soggy fields. The front and rear racks carry 123 kg combined, the standard hitch tows up to 370 kg and there are 18.9 litres of storage up front. Front tie-down points help you secure your load.
This base version has no power steering and runs on 25-inch tyres with 12-inch steel wheels: plain and without frills. LED headlights with POD lighting, an adjustable speed limiter and a PIN-code security system are standard though. The Sportsman 600 is green. You can ride it unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T). With that registration it may be used on public roads for business.
