newWhat sets this XP 1000 apart is its anti-lock braking system (ABS). Under hard braking, ABS prevents the wheels from locking so you can keep steering. That gives extra confidence on slippery surfaces, with a full 454 kg cargo bed or with a trailer of up to 1,134 kg on the tow hitch with ECE R55 ball.
The same 999 cc DOHC twin as in the XP 1000 Premium provides the power, together with the Gen 2 transmission. High-output power steering keeps steering light, and On-Demand True AWD engages four-wheel drive automatically. The rear differential is normally locked; in VersaTrac Turf mode you open it, so you leave no marks on lawns and grassland.
The ABS version rides on 27-inch eight-ply Pro Armor X-Terrain tyres and 14-inch aluminium wheels, good for 33 cm of ground clearance. Dual LED headlights and a speed limiter adjustable via the instrument panel complete the package. It seats three. The colour is grey. It is available unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T).
