newThe XU is the Traxter version that is ready for real work straight away. Compared with the Traxter HD7, you get Dynamic Power Steering (DPS), a 2,041 kg winch with synthetic rope and roller fairlead, a full heavy-duty plastic skid plate and an RF key (DESS) with start/stop button. Ideal for forestry and nature management, farming, emergency services and utility work.
The HD7 uses the Rotax ACE 650 cc single-cylinder engine with 52 hp and 57 Nm. This engine needs no break-in period, no early servicing and no regular valve adjustments, and it runs quieter with less vibration. The pDrive CVT with engine braking and Hill Descent Control keep your speed in check on descents, and with the speed limiter you set your own maximum speed.
With 28 cm of ground clearance and 25.4 cm of suspension travel, it handles dirt tracks with ease. The Traxter tows up to 1,134 kg, the cargo box carries 454 kg and the 60/40 VERSA-PRO bench with tilt-up passenger seats seats three people. It rides on 27-inch Maxxis Coronado tyres. Available in green, unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T).
