newLike the 650, the X xc 1000 is a cross-country ATV, built for fast trails and dirt roads. The difference is the engine: the liquid-cooled Rotax 976 cc V-twin delivers 80 hp, 21 hp more than the 650. With the Work, Standard and Sport riding modes you match the throttle response to the terrain, and Intelligent Engine Braking (iEB) manages engine braking.
The X xc 1000 shares its chassis with the 650: curved double A-arms with a sway bar (23.3 cm of travel) and TTI rear suspension (25.1 cm of travel), with FOX 1.5 PODIUM RC2 shocks with adjustable preload. Three-mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS), Brake Traction Control, ABS and 26.7 cm of ground clearance give you control at both high and low speeds.
You ride on 25-inch ITP Holeshot ATR tyres mounted on 12-inch cast aluminium beadlock wheels. A tapered aluminium handlebar, full-wrap handguards, a 4.5-inch digital display and front and centre skid plates are part of the equipment. The X xc 1000 is EC-homologated in the T category, available unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T), in grey.
