newWhere the X xc models are made for fast trails, the X mr is built to ride fast and far through mud. The liquid-cooled Rotax 976 cc V-twin delivers 91 hp and breathes through a snorkel. The CVT has an extra-low range, letting you work your way through deep mud and tricky sections at a controlled pace.
The Visco-4Lok front differential locks automatically, and with the Lock 4WD mode you lock it fully when the going gets really tough. Curved double A-arms with a sway bar and TTI rear suspension work together with FOX 1.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks with adjustable preload. With 31.8 cm of ground clearance, the X mr has 5 cm more than the X xc.
Standard equipment includes a Can-Am HD3500 winch rated at 1,588 kg with synthetic rope, heavy-duty front and rear bumpers, aluminium front and centre skid plates and full-wrap handguards. The 30-inch ITP Cryptid mud tyres are mounted on 14-inch cast aluminium beadlock wheels. The X mr 1000R is available in silver with red.
