newThis Smart-Shox version differs from the regular XT-P 1000R in two ways. Instead of manually adjustable FOX shocks, it has KYB shocks with Smart-Shox technology: semi-active suspension that automatically adapts to the terrain under your wheels. The result is more grip, stability and comfort, without you having to adjust the damping yourself. Suspension travel is 27.4 cm at the front and 30.5 cm at the rear.
The second difference is the 10.25-inch touchscreen, which comes with the Smart-Shox option, in place of the 7.6-inch digital display. The screen has built-in GPS with an offline group ride function and BRP GO! app connectivity, and software updates are downloaded over Wi-Fi. The Rotax 999 cc V-twin delivers 101 hp and 93.5 Nm, tows up to 830 kg and offers Work, Standard and Sport riding modes.
The rest of the equipment matches the XT-P: ABS, three-mode power steering (DPS), LED lighting, a Can-Am HD3500 winch rated at 1,588 kg with synthetic rope, heavy-duty bumpers, a full skid plate and 27-inch XPS Trail King 2 tyres on 14-inch aluminium beadlock wheels. Ground clearance: 30.5 cm. Finished in dark blue with orange, unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T).
