newAt Can-Am, MAX stands for the two-seater. The Outlander MAX has a longer chassis (249.9 cm versus 226.6 cm) and a removable passenger seat, so the two of you can ride out in comfort. Riding alone? You quickly and easily convert it to a single-rider setup. That gives you one ATV for solo work and for rides together.
The 500 also has the Rotax ACE 650 cc single-cylinder engine with double overhead camshaft and balance shaft, tuned here to 40 hp and 50.2 Nm. If you want more power and three riding modes, choose the MAX DPS 700. Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) with three modes keeps steering light, and ABS and Brake Traction Control (BTC) in 4WD come as standard.
The MAX DPS 500 is EC-homologated in the T category and available unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T). With 30.5 cm of ground clearance, 26 cm of rear travel and a full skid plate, you can also head off the beaten track. Also included: LED lighting, a 4.5-inch digital display, 25-inch tyres on 12-inch aluminium wheels and a premium glovebox with phone holder. Colour: grey.
