newThe MAX DPS 1000R combines two seats with the most powerful Outlander engine: the Rotax 999 cc V-twin with 101 hp and a 120 W cooling fan. That is 19 hp more than the 82 hp MAX DPS 1000. With Work, Standard and Sport modes and Intelligent Engine Braking (iEB), it is suited to heavy towing and sporty rides for two.
DPS stands for Dynamic Power Steering with three modes, so the ATV steers lightly in tight corners, even with a passenger. ABS and Brake Traction Control (BTC) in 4WD come as standard. The passenger has raised footrests and adjustable grab handles, and thanks to the Convertible Rack System (CRS) the passenger seat quickly becomes an extra cargo rack.
A winch and heavy-duty bumpers are not standard on the DPS; the XT versions have them from the factory. You do get a full skid plate, a 7.6-inch display, 30.5 cm of ground clearance and 26-inch tyres on 14-inch aluminium wheels. Available unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T). Colour: grey.
