newThe Backcountry is the top version of the updated Outlander 6x6. The Rotax 999 cc V-twin delivers 101 hp and 93.5 Nm. Besides 4WD and 6WD, it has an extra Lock 6WD mode with a Visco-6Lok front differential, giving you maximum traction in mud, snow and on steep slopes. An extra-low gear helps with heavy towing.
With a 454 kg payload, up to 275 litres of storage and 830 kg towing capacity, this is a true workhorse. A Can-Am HD3500 winch rated at 1,588 kg with synthetic rope comes as standard. Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) with three modes, three riding modes, Intelligent Engine Braking (iEB) and a speed limiter give you full control, even with a heavy load.
SHOWA shocks and anti-roll bars keep the 6x6 stable, while 30-inch XPS Iron Force tyres on 14-inch aluminium beadlock wheels and 33 cm of ground clearance carry you through rough terrain. Large 252 mm front brake discs, a heavy-duty front bumper, a full skid plate and foot, A-arm and hand guards complete the package. Available in black, unregistered or with an agricultural registration (T).
