The flagship of the second-generation AF series combines the most powerful engine with the largest working width. A 23 hp Briggs & Stratton V-Twin with electric start drives a 1.6 m rotor fitted with 22 heavy-duty forged hammer flails and a Boss Bar as standard. That lets you tackle dense scrub and rough vegetation too.
At around 340 kg, this is the heaviest machine in the range. Power reaches the 114 mm rotor shaft through the LockTorque lever clutch and three belts. You can offset the drawbar to the left or right to mow outside your quad's wheel tracks, and a turnbuckle on the drawbar lets you set the mower level.
On side wheels the AFR-160 is 2.45 m wide. If you want it narrower, the SwingLock axle system lets you switch to rear wheels (1.95 m) without tools. For use behind a UTV an extended kill switch is available, as are tandem wheels and a jockey wheel. After online registration you get a 2-year warranty.
